Levi's designed the world's first pair of women's jeans in 1934 and named it “Lady Levis”.
In 1954, Marilyn Monroe made an appearance in the movie ”Clash By Night“wearing Lady Levis.
The nearly perfect hip-lifting effect of this pair of denim pants, paired with a form-fitting white shirt, was truly astonishing. This enabled denim items to officially enter Hollywood and become popular in the fashion circle.

The "Monroe Denim" Levis 701 is the most well-known style of women's pants. The 1950s version of the 701 used a 10oz fabric.
In order to make the pants more structured, we use a 14oz fabric for production.
