The design traces back to 1950s French Navy mechanic jackets, while the fit takes cues from the short, boxy proportions of American Cossack jackets. Rather than following the longer, more relaxed silhouette often seen in traditional work jackets, the body is cut shorter and fuller for a cleaner, more compact shape.

A waist-adjustment strap is added at the hem, allowing the lower silhouette to be subtly shaped and giving the jacket a more structured finish.

The fabric carries a rich sheen from the sizing finish, while the carefully exposed white weft creates a subtle peppered effect across the surface. The indigo is deep yet lifted by a cool blue-green cast, giving it far more depth than a flat, conventional raw-denim tone.

The silhouette is sharp and composed on the body — clean, confident, and deliberately restrained.
