Western shirt:Rugged Chic

Western shirts originated from a type of clothing worn by Native Americans in 19th-century America. At that time, due to the scarcity of cotton in frontier regions, they were primarily made from animal hides and decorated with pearl snaps. As time progressed, cotton fabric gradually replaced these materials.
Jack Weil, a genuine cowboy, participated in various rodeo events. After witnessing bull riders tear their shirts during competitions,he conceived the idea of replacing traditional buttons with snap buttons. This innovation allowed shirts to release naturally if caught on a bull’s horns, rather than being forcefully ripped apart.
In 1946, the legendary ROCKMOUNT RANCH WEAR was born.
