Aztec Pattern——The Aztec civilization was an indigenous civilization in Mesoamerica,which existed from 1300 to 1521 AD in what is now central and southern Mexico.

A large number of geometric embroidery and patterns such as triangles, suns,and waves are largely derived from the absorption of Aztec and Mexican cultures

The overlapping triangles are full of tension and rhythm,symbolizing multiple meanings:

they represent both mountainous terrain and tangs and weapons.

In the Aztec cosmoloev, the world is cvclic and overlavving,and people believe in sublimation to the divine realm,hence the totem of upwardly progressive and overlapping isosceles triangles.
