This year’s Year of the Horse Limited Edition takes inspiration from the Silk Road, with a strong focus on layered texture and material depth.

Dyed with an ultra-deep indigo, the subtle purplish cast of the fabric comes from the interaction between the weft yarns and purple slub fibers.

Hidden among the dense slub yarns are subtle strands of purplish-red thread.

As the denim fades with wear, these tones gradually emerge, revealing a restrained crimson sheen reminiscent of the legendary “Ferghana horse” — never obvious at first glance, but quietly revealed over time.

The broken twill construction creates an irregular slub surface with a distinctly handcrafted character.

For this fabric, Lyocell fibers are blended in for the first time, conceptually echoing the Silk Road through material choice.

Thanks to the specific balance between Lyocell and cotton, the denim retains flexibility and resilience despite its 21oz weight — substantial without stiffness, heavy yet surprisingly soft.

Multiple shades of purple stitching are used throughout the garment, enhancing depth and contrast within its muted overall tone.

A double Paris buckle design is applied at the side waist to add structural layering.

Please do not pierce the Paris buckles. Due to their placement, improper handling may cause injury.

Embroidery on the pocket bags, fly, and back pockets is illustrated with “routes” as the core motif, symbolizing the paths of the Silk Road.
