This jeans was initially designed with the designer hand-distressing and dirtying the fabric, realized in collaboration with the wash house.
Multi-layered distressing, destruction, and washing complement the subtle yellow mud dye effect perfectly.
As is widely known, preserving the selvedge (redline/red edge) requires the outer seam to be cut vertically.
This limitation prevented flared jeans from having an outward flare shape.
This detail also adds a certain element of remake-inspired fun.
Multi-layered washing mimics various "stains" like gasoline and markers at different intensities.
The roomier cut creates a more chill and relaxed fit when worn.
The large and small rips at the knees and the mended slash details enhance the vintage aesthetic.
This aligns more closely with the "used" concept.
